According to a source, Apple can launch the new M1X Macbook Pro models between September and November. Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman revealed that the new models would launch in two screen sizes. These are 14-inch and 16-inch screens, respectively. Gurman claims that new models of Macbook Pro will go into production in Q3 2021. The report also stated that Apple was first launching the new Macbook Pro earlier this year. However, the launch has been delayed due to issues with the mini-LED display.
It has also been reported that the new M1X MacBook pro will now launch in September. Moreover, the brand will start shipping the pro laptop in October. Typically, the September Apple event is for the launch of the new iPhone 13. It is also rumored that there will be a new Apple Watch Series 7 at the September event.
M1X Macbook Pro models Features
Both M1X Macbook Pro models (14-inch-screen and 16-inch screen) feature a mini-LED display introduced on the 2021 12.9-inch iPad Pro. These two variants are expected to come with a powerful version of the MI chip known as M1X or the M2 chip. These two chips will come with two energy-efficient cores and eight high-performance cores. However, the major difference is in the GPU as both models feature 16 and 32 GPU cores.
The upcoming Apple silicon also supports up to 64 of RAM. Other details recommend that the new MacBook Pro also has more ports. On the right side of the MacBook Pro, there will be an SD card reader slot and an HDMI port. It will have three USB Type-C ports, two out of them will be placed on the left edge. Moreover, MagSafe is making a comeback on the MacBook, with a lot placed on the left side of the machine.
