AR Demo for Samsung’s Flagship Refrigerator & TV for Life-like Virtual Shopping Experience

According to a news article published in Samsung Newsroom India, Samsung expanded its contactless offering with a new AR demo for flagship TV and refrigerator. It will let users virtually experience how their desired Samsung products would seem like in their homes. Now consumers can use the AR Demo to place lifestyle TV The Serif in their living room virtually. Also, it will have a 360-degree view of how the new SpaceMax Family Hub refrigerator would look in their kitchen. Moreover, it also lets them explore detailed features of the products. Besides that, consumers can also check the product’s dimensions and see if it compliments their home’s decor and space.

The AR Demo launched by Samsung is for the new refrigerator and TV. Also, it will expand it to other products soon. Raju Pullan, Senior Vice President, Consumer Electronics Business, Samsung India said, “As consumers spend more time at home and continue to look for smarter lifestyle choices, we want to ensure they can experience their favourite Samsung products right in the comfort of their homes and close transactions without stepping out. The new AR Demo enables our consumers with technology so they can experientially make an informed decision.” 

How does the AR Demo Work?

The experienced consultants of Samsung will share a link to the AR demo with consumers. Moreover, consumers can also access this link from the brand’s Facebook page. Once the users click on the link, the AR demo would be activated on their mobile phones. The user can then see the product in their home environment, placing a refrigerator or television at their desired location. It is just by using their smartphone camera.

After that, the camera will space the place and space where you need to place the appliance. It provides a clear idea of how the product seems aesthetically in their homes. When it comes to a refrigerator, users can also open doors and look inside it for the holistic experience. Moreover, after the virtual experience, the consumer also has an option to ‘Request Callback.’ This is to connect with the local Samsung retailer to ensure they can buy Samsung products from their home.
